The truth is that who we think we are is as important as who we actually are. Neither one can do without the other. God has done the work to redeem us as a new creation in Christ, but if we don’t believe it, we won’t live it. So, who do you think you are? Because chances are, that is who you are living as. So, let’s get our thoughts lined up with the reality of who God has truly made us to be in Jesus!

Each time we hear a knock at the door, there is that moment of pause... who could that be? Sometimes when we know who is coming over we rush to the door but is that true when we hear a knock and we have no idea who's on the other side? Of course not! The same is true when we are confused about the Holy Spirit. Most of us have struggled at one time or another with trying to understand the Holy Spirit so we don't rush to answer His call. This week, come join us as we answer the question: Who is the Holy Spirit?

For 40 days after the resurrection Jesus stayed with the disciples, teaching them, spending time with them. If it was so important that they receive the Holy Spirit and get on with the kingdom mission, why was He wasting all that time? And why did it take another 10 days before the Spirit was poured out on the day of Pentecost? Often, there are important lessons to be learned in the waiting times. We all have them. We wish God would hurry up. But are we missing something crucial that God is teaching through the waiting?

Being a witness is sometimes about what to say, but sometimes about what not to say. Jesus sometimes told his followers not to say anything (Mark 8:29-30; Matt. 16:20, Mark 3:11-12). Why? Listen and find out...
