The Best Part of Together

God is forming us into a new community that makes His heart known to this world through the life that we live, not just as individuals, but also as His new community. So, what does that life look like? Let find out together.

The Power of Us

There is no doubt that God has designed, created, and re-created each one of us in Christ in amazing ways. But as amazing as we may be individually, together, as the Church, we are stunning! Together, we reveal nothing less than the glory of God. Let’s be the Church.

Reminders of Hope

Whenever God would do something amazing for Israel, they would set up a monument of stones to remember. Subsequently, the land of Israel was full of these reminder stones. God has also done amazing things for us. How do we remember? Let’s find ways of making our own “reminder stones” to celebrate God’s goodness to us.

Finding the Power of Prayer

Prayer is not just throwing our best wishes up to heaven, hoping God will grant some of them. Rather, prayer is intentionally calling things in heaven and on earth into alignment with God and His purposes. So how do we do this? What are the components of the kind of prayer that actually changes things? Let’s find out together.

With Jesus

Our prayers do not effect change because we pray “good enough.” Our prayer changes heaven and earth because when we pray, we join with Jesus in His work through His prayer and intercession for this world. Let’s learn what it means to be with Jesus in prayer.

Sent (10:30am)

We are concluding our sermon series on Multivision. It's been fun to hear from different voices in this summer's preaching co-hort. This week will conclude the Gather, Bless, Break model with Send! God is a sending God. He has been sending people on mission for the purpose of accomplishing some really great things. We see God sending kings, prophets and regular people in the Old Testament and we see Jesus sending his disciples out as well, but does God still send people out for His purposes? Of course! Sending is in God's nature. But what does it look like for us today?

Broken

In this world, we’ve been told that the rules are when you lose, you lose; so make sure not to lose. But what happens when God changes the rules. He says now, that even when it looks like you’ve lost, you haven’t lost. Everything will work together into good, if you are one of God’s own. What a confidence builder that is in this world! Let’s talk about it this Sunday…

Blessed (10:30am)

What is the purpose of a blessing? Nice words of encouragement? Nice thoughts, if they were just true. Or is blessing something more? Could it be that blessing changes everything? Could it be that blessing harnesses the very creative power of God’s spoken word and transforms what merely is into what it could be… into what it was meant to be? The blessing is what changed the equation when it came to feeding 5000 people with five loaves and two fish. Come see how it can change the equations of our lives as well.
