Defending Your Faith: A First Course in Apologetics
9:00am in the Sanctuary
Is your Christian faith credible? Can it stand up to the objections often made against it? Is belief in the existence of God reasonable? What about evil and suffering? How can you know that Jesus really rose from the dead? These and other questions form the basis for this course. Come and learn how to defend your faith! This class will be team-taught by Ray English and Don Zeyl.
New Testament Studies
10:45am in the Sanctuary
If you have ever wondered who wrote each book of the New Testament, how they fit together as a whole, or what the purpose of all 27 books are, this class is for you. All are welcome to attend as we explore the major themes of the New Testament. This will be a great class for those of you who are new to the Bible as well as for those who have been around the church for awhile. All will grow in their understanding of God and His plan, the Scriptures, the life and story of Jesus and what we are here for. Taught by Cheryl Lavornia, beginning January 15th in the sanctuary. For more information, contact Cheryl at 884-8632 or cheryl@christchurchec.org.
