Volunteer Connection

What is the Volunteer Connection?

Volunteer Connection (VC) was created to provide an easy method for people to connect to the Christ Church community as a ministry volunteer. Think of it as the church’s human resources department that encourages and cares for the volunteers and ministries.
  • Information: VC will provide information about ministries and serving opportunities.
  • Guidance: VC will guide people to ministries based on interest areas, spiritual gifts, talents, personal schedules, etc.
  • Encouragement: VC will encourage people to tryout a ministry by doing a First Serve.

Where is the Volunteer Connection?

You can find information, forms and the Christ Church Serving Catalog at the VC display in the Community Room – a place where you can go to:
  • Get information about the ministries at Christ Church;
  • Learn about First Serve opportunities and how to go about signing up;
  • Speak to someone about your passions and gifts and where they might best be used;
  • Receive guidance and encouragement in where and how to serve;

VC team members are available to assist you on Sunday’s following the 8:30 am and 10:00 am services and can also be contacted by email.
